Jo works part-time on digital communications & content at FBA
Jo joined the Freshwater Biological Association in 2024 to provide support with their digital comms. Since 2005 Jo has worked at Creative Concern a creative agency specialising in climate action, regeneration and sustainability that believes in the power of communications to be a force for good.
With an academic background in environmental science and research, Jo has over 20 years’ experience working on multiple digital projects for environmental and ethical awareness-raising campaigns, and also heritage and arts promotion with local, national and internationally-focused organisations. These include Defra, the British Council, Tyndall Centre for Climate Change, Manchester Climate Change Agency, the Community Forest Trust, Action Oak and the Alliance for Scotland’s Rainforest.
