Save The Date! The FBA Annual Scientific Meeting 25 June 2025
14 November, 2024
We are excited to announce the restoration of the Freshwater Biological Association (FBA) Annual Scientific Meeting. This conference-style event will showcase the research and practice of FBA members including staff, early career scientists and fellows.
It will be in person only at Nottingham Trent University’s (NTU) Clifton Campus on Wednesday 25 June 2025. Please save the date.
Registration, keynotes and speakers
Keep an eye on the https://www.fba.org.uk/shop page for more details. We plan to open registration in the new year. We’re delighted to announce Dave Tickner, Chief Adviser for Rivers at the World Wildlife Fund - UK, as one of our keynotes. We’re just starting to invite other top-notch keynotes and speakers, and will add the draft agenda to the page soon.
Cost
The event will be charged to cover the costs of the venue and catering. We will offer favourable rates for FBA members, in particular early career members, and bursaries will be available to support those who need them.
Would you like to present?
If you’d like to give a presentation, please email simon.johnson@fba.org.uk with your name, the proposed title, an abstract of approx. 150 words, and your preferred format (oral or poster). Oral presentation slots are limited whereas we have plenty of space for printed posters.
